Men's Cowhide A-2 Flight Jacket with Zip-Out Liner

An A-2 style flight jacket made from cowhide with a natural, uncoated finish that ages with real character. It has a shirt-style collar with a snap-off pile collar, two-way entry front pockets, a knit waistband and cuffs, plus a bi-swing back and underarm gussets for movement. A poly twill lining and zip-out pile liner let you wear it four ways, with or without the collar and liner. Made by hand in our family workshop with YKK zippers, it is built to last for years.

What is naked cowhide?

Naked leather is cowhide finished without a heavy pigment or top coat, so you see and feel the natural grain. It is softer from day one, and it records wear: creases, scuffs and color changes build into a patina that makes the jacket look better with age. That is the same reason vintage A-2 flight jackets are so prized.

Sizing and care

The A-2 has a relaxed bomber fit with a knit waistband, so take your usual size; with the zip-out pile liner in, there is room for a light layer.
